Working With Windows

















• And once again, it's been too long. But what do you want for nothin', right? Long story short: moving takes for fucking ever. And it costs a shit-ton.

• It seems like blogging etiquette dictates that I make, on returning, like a gigantic post, to make up for lost time. And perhaps I will soon. But the pressure of that has been keeping me from getting back to CFY,K earlier, so I've decided to just, like, not do that. This way, anyway, I can kind of get back into whatever it is I'm supposed to be doing with this thing. You know.

• Yesterday - the other day? I'm losing track because of the anxiety that comes with being unemployed - I went to this exhibition, and the original scroll from On the Road was there. This, as you might imagine, had a powerful effect on me. The thing about it is, aside from that whole trip being like a sort of weird pilgrimage for me, that it works. You read the thing, and if you can get past the presence of Kerouac's own handwritten corrections, then like. If you skip down a ways, he's somewhere else. Doing something else. Like a road. Never mind.

• I remain a fan of Paul Pope, but I am unimpressed by his new line of DKNY clothing. So. Sorry, buddy.

• I am hereby throwing my hat into the ring of rock and roll poster design, starting with this little one that I have unsolicitedly made for Anvil Rabitt's project. It's got open space so in case if you want to add like a handwritten date/time/venue situation, right?

• Soon there will be many photographs and plants. And more Curtains.
